How we work together
One page, in plain words. MackiCut is made by Robert Szabo, Sweden. It is in its pilot: offered as it is, without charge, to people invited by name.
Your footage is yours
It stays on your computer. MackiCut keeps no copy of it. What you watch in the browser passes through our relay, encrypted on the way and never stored. The people of your account can open your server. We can only while you allow Support access on your account page, for the time you choose, and the editor shows everyone on the server when we are there.
What we keep about you
Your name, your email address, and when your servers and devices were connected and working — the Status page shows it to you. We use it to run the service and for nothing else, and it goes when your account goes.
What we ask of you
Use MackiCut for your own work and for people who agree to be in it, and not for anything that breaks the law or hurts someone. Keep your password and your server to yourself. We do not look at what you edit, and have no wish to. If someone reports that an account is used to harm others, we act on the report: we may close the account or unlink the server, and we tell you why.
Things will break
MackiCut is new. We fix what goes wrong as fast as we can, but we cannot promise it is always up or that every export is right. Keep your originals.
